Dear Mr Jun Lozada,

I applaud you because I know what you’ve done is not an easy thing to do. Because of your honesty and principles you and your family have become a target for the people who have tried to hide their corruption. I pray that you and your family will be kept safe and that justice will prevail. That God will grant you peace of mind and that you will stay strong despite the dangers, death threats and risk that you are now exposed to.

It might seem like you’re a David facing a Goliath but your pebble of truth will bring these giants down. Be safe sir.

The first day of the long weekend. I slept at 3am this morning fiddling with Wacky. Editing my songs and playlists.

I plugged in to Wacky so that I could fall asleep, I thought I could turn it off once I feel sleep taking over. I didn’t. So my iPod Touch was running from 3am to 7am in the morning when I awoke to a weird sound. It was Imogen Heap singing Speeding Cars! I turned Wacky off. And went back to sleep.

Woke up at 10:30 am, earlier in the morning, my sister had turned off the fan. I was perspiring because I was buried under my comforter …yes, not a blanket, but a heavy pink comforter.

One thing I am bothered about staying at home is the incredible amount of housework needed to be done. Fearing the fury of my Mum, I had vacuumed our room, folded the heap of laundry, re-heated the ox tail stew with corn and grilled the fish, made my siblings and cousin eat, started a fresh batch of laundry, washed the dishes and pots, boiled water, and took a bath.

Whew!

But wait, it’s 4pm and I have done more. I finally, finished priming the altered book with gesso, finished burning Deborah’s CD, printed out the journal prompts and the mermaid illustration. I have also finished checking my email (keep the entries coming guys) and finishing the meme that Daniela tagged me in my other blog.

Of course, there’s still a lot to be done, like replying to letters and stuff. But I am making progress.

I have updated two pages yesterday. One is my journal pages from Flickr and the WordPress Pinoy Link Love . If you’ve noticed that some of the images that I have posted have a watermark on them. I think that it’s very useful to watermark your images so that it can be attributed to you when people grab them. I mean, I also respect intellectual property rights by giving credit where credit is due (OK sometimes all right!). A very useful site where you can have your images watermarked is Picmarkr , you can select to have a text, image or tiled watermark and also the orientation of these watermarks. Aside from that, it’s free and easy to use.

I have also added a Creative Commons button, WordPress Pinoy button and a Yabang Pinoy button on my sidebar.

We’re nearing the end of our first contest! I am so excited. Next month I will be having another contest and hopefully more people can join in.
