It’s a drugged out world for me this past week. The meds that I have been taking has given me a “spacey” feeling. And it seems like nothing can hurt me now, because I feel so numbed down. Everything seems unreal and I think I’m desensitised from everything. I am not able to concentrate and my active listening skills have gone below the chart.
Sometimes I feel like I’m levitating other times I feel like I’m not inside my body. It’s creepy to refer yourself in the third person.
So guess what, I googled one of the meds that the doctor prescribed to me.
Here is what Wikipedia turned out:
“Abelardo Aguilar , a Filipino scientist, sent some soil samples to his employer Eli Lilly in 1949. Eli Lilly’s research team, led by J. M. McGuire, managed to isolate Erythromycin from the metabolic products of a strain of Streptomyces erythreus (designation changed to “Saccharopolyspora erythraea”) found in the samples.”
So if it were not for Mr Aguilar, there would be no researchers and the drug that I have to take for two more days.
*HIGH*
This isn’t a nice feeling at all. Yesterday I thought my keyboard suddenly stood up and began “shedding” its keys. Did I mention that I think it’s really freezing cold?
Endure. Endure. Endure.
