Ocho Ocho

EDIT: Idol Gives Back — the finale song was Shout to the Lord! Wow! So cool man!

I haven’t done any memes in the longest time, Bunny tagged me on this post. On a sidenote, I think my life is a bit like a tabloid, so finding something about myself that I haven’t revealed is very difficult.

Here are the rules:

* Each blogger must post these rules first.
* Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
* Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
* At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
* Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Eight facts that you don’t know about me:

1. I’m a crybaby when it comes to watching movies and TV dramas. I can’t  watch them without crying. Case in point, last Sunday at church there was a clip from the Prince of Egypt (to the tune of When You Believe), I was in tears! So yeah, I rarely watch weepy movies/TV shows.

2. I have a lot of nicknames/pet names. I don’t know why, but people can’t stick to Elle or to my given name. They either add/subtract or dub me with a whole new name! I’ve been called Jay, JuJu, Joo, Gina, Princess, Lerms, Pie, Tou Tou, Elliepantastic, Jelloid and a whole lot of things.

3. I have no sense of spatial coordination whatsoever. I have bruises on my knees and elbows because I usually hit myself with the furniture at our flat, especially in my room!

4. I don’t say much to people I don’t know that well. I used to be the bubbly, chirpy, welcomes everybody type of girl (my secondary and uni friends can attest to that!). But ever since I stepped into Singapore I’ve become less of an extrovert. I don’t know why.

5. I detest animals from the order Rodentia, I mean the whole lot, muskrats, rats, and yes, hamsters. No offence to Hamtaro but really, I just get icky all over.

6. I used to have the most awful posture of anyone I knew! Awful, awful posture!

——————- oh gosh this is getting so hard! What else, what else?

7.  (checks her iTunes), my 7th most played song on iTunes is And Your Bird Can Sing by the Beatles (seriously!)

8. Oh, when I was young an Arab businessman wanted to buy me from my parents in exchange for an x  of camels. So if my parents thought that camels were a better investment than I was, I would still be in Saudi Arabia by now.

OK now, for people to tag:

Carisse, Ghindie, Irish, Telle, Billi, Cheri, Jet and Camilla
