Name that Movie!

I got this from a former schoolmate, Bernice, I really thought this is fun!

* Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
* Go to IMDB/Google and find a quote for each movie.
* Post them here for everyone to guess.
* Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it FIRST and the movie.
* For those who are guessing: No googling/using IMDB search functions.

1.  Mother, I do not need a blind date. Particularly not with some verbally incontinent spinster who drinks like a fish, smokes like a chimney, and dresses like her mother.  Dani guessed it correctly – Bridget Jones’ Diary

2. It’s always the mother’s fault.

3. Summer romances begin for all kinds of reasons, but when all is said and done, they have one thing in common. They’re shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, fleeting glimpse of eternity, and in a flash they’re gone.

4. I love you. I’ll wait for you. Come back. Come back to me.

5. “Have you never heard of braces? ” “Yes I have thank you very much, we use ‘em to keep our trousers up.”

6. You should’ve gone to China, you know, ’cause I hear they give away babies like free iPods. You know, they pretty much just put them in those t-shirt guns and shoot them out at sporting events.

7. If you’re going to let one stupid prick ruin your life… you’re not the girl I thought you were.

8. You don’t know how lucky you are being a monkey. Because consciousness is a terrible curse.

9. So I can kiss you anytime I want.

10.  Gimme fin! Gimme fin! Alex – Happy Feet, I love Ramon and Lovelace!

11. Are you staring at me or her? ‘Cause you’re starting to freak me out.

12. There will be no rescue, no intervention force. We can only save ourselves. Many of you know influential people abroad, you must call these people. You must tell them what will happen to us… say goodbye. But when you say goodbye, say it as though you are reaching through the phone and holding their hand. Let them know that if they let go of that hand, you will die. We must shame them into sending help.

13. Oh, what large teeth you have. I mean white sparkly teeth, I know you probably hear this all the time from your food but you must bleach or something, ’cause that’s one dazzling smile you got there and do I detect a hint of minty freshness?

14. Why would I need to see other women? You have more than enough personalities to keep me completely occupied!”

15. Alrighty, then

Tomorrow is our 2nd year anniversary here in Singapore. I’m quite sad, happy and a lot of stuff that is still unresolved. I’m not trying to be profound pero  I really think that life is one big puzzle that hasn’t been resolved yet.

These two years is like an extended gap year, a time to really explore my strengths and glaring weaknesses, knowing what I like and what I love to do.

Speaking of what I love to do, I amd doing something for a friend right now – a really (I hope)  nice surprise!
