Desperate For A Miracle

My Greatest Honour Will Always Be To Serve My Lord And King

I’ll be going for a prayer meeting later. This past week has been all about prayer and seeking God. When I say that I haven’t prayed like this before, it’s true.

As I shared in CG, I’m very happy and blessed that my whole family has caught a hunger for God and has made prayer a big part of our lives. I am beginning to understand what Pray without ceasing means.

Anyway, this month I’m believing God for greater breakthroughs and miracles upon my life. He has opened a door for me and of which I am glad, just when I thought I could turn my back away.

God, I really need You to move so powerfully in my life, here I am send me.

Should I Be Completely Honest?

There are stuff that I know you won’t really understand or even try to. Now I feel so silly for broaching the subject.

Do you notice how my blog is becoming even more impersonal? It’s because life is confusing yet filled with hope, exciting but shadowed by doubt, and blessed but clouded by fear. A powerful mix of emotions. I don’t want to sound emo, everything is OK but not so OK.

Anyway, I realize that whenever I feel weary and have a difficulty expressing myself, I write in poems, write in secret words and yes, I am working on a story.

I just feel that something is going to break in the spirit realm. And I am pregnant with expectation.

Will seriously blog more about personal stuff!

Later,

Goodbye Blues

Music: Honey, The Hush Sound

My sister and I are almost polar opposites. However, since the past two years that we’ve been in Singapore, where we’re forced to share close quarters, we have learned to deal with each other’s eccentricities.

She has taken a liking to Wacky, and she has listened to the songs I have with longsuffering.

So it’s with great surprise that she has introduced ME to a band that I actually LIKE!

They are The Hush Sound. Though I can only hear their songs from YouTube, I’m liking them so much, the catchy tunes, guitar riffs…the cool videos!

From L-R:  Chris Faller (Bass/Vocals), Bob Morris (Guitar/Vocals), Greta Salpeter (Piano/Vocals) and Darren Wilson (Drums/Vocals)

Their latest album is Goodbye Blues  which was released last March 18. The album contains the following tracks:

  1. “Intro”- 1:29
  2. Honey“- 3:39
  3. “Medicine Man”- 3:23
  4. “The Boys Are Too Refined”- 3:17
  5. “Hurricane”- 3:12
  6. “As You Cry”- 3:25
  7. “Six” (Interlude)- 2:23
  8. “Molasses”- 3:51
  9. “That’s Okay”- 3:18
  10. “Not Your Concern”- 2:57
  11. “Love You Much Better”- 3:17
  12. “Hospital Bed Crawl”- 2:37
  13. “Break the Sky”- 3:19

I have no idea if this is available in Singapore. I think it should be…anyway you can check out their MySpace too.
