For those of you who are regularly reading my blog, you can notice that lately I have been gabbing about NaNoWriMo. NaNoWriMo is a project where people can fulfill their dreams of writing a novel. For the whole month of November each participant will attempt to write a 50000 word novel.

50000 words in one month.

1667 words per day.

~ 600-800 pages of a book

1 novel and 1 very stressed writer!

So far I’ve logged in 5231 words in three days. Gah, I’m struggling with a few issues, here. How to tie up loose ends and transitioning and making sure the plot is tight!

Plus the fact that I have not been very happy about my female protagonist’s name!

Here’s a sneak peak at my story:

NOTE: This is YA/ChickLit-ish excuse the raging hormones.

Arise & Build 2008 has finally started. I am so excited, believing for a greater breakthrough this year! Went for today’s prayer meeting, I must say the whole place was super packed! You could really feel God’s presence during the whole prayer meeting. I woke up at 4am to make sure that I got ready before my parents and siblings did, I didn’t want to make a mad dash for the bathroom and all.

During quiet time which was of course earlier today, God reminded me about a lot of things:
God has not overlooked my sorrows, my sacrifices, my dreams, my

ambitions. He has not overlooked the opportunities I gave up, He

has not overlooked my surrendered life. He has not overlooked my

heartache, He has not forsaken me, He has not forsaken me today,

and He will never forsake me.

Well, ciao people!

As for the NaNoWriMo update – 4,000 words…yeah! 46,000 more to go for my novel!
