Update – Interview Format
November 12, 2008Since I got bored with the normal updating…
- I used to wrack my brains out for an answer to the question, “If you could turn back the time, what would you most like to change?”. Now I can confidently say that I want the time to go back to yesterday, November 11 at exactly 9:10 pm. That is the time that I dropped WACKY! Cue: inconsolable crying and hair pulling. YES, mi amores, I dropped my beloved Wacky on the marble floor! I know that I shouldn’t be too attached to an inanimate object, but more than just a financial investment, I had emotionally invested in Wacky. So seeing a fine, not so deep line on his once sleek surface, I have to hold back the tears and shut my mouth while my parents took turns in rebuking my carelessness. It’s a fact in my family that I almost always ruin any gadget or article of clothing, even if they weren’t surprised about the Wacky-dropping incident I still had to endure the you-should-be-careful-you-always-seem-to-spoil-stuff talk.
- What time did I sleep last night and what was I doing? I slept at 3:30 am this morning, because I am so way behind NaNoWriMo I needed to at least hit 20000 words, no such thing, I just managed to hit 17000. It’s physically draining me now, I have been anal-retentive about this and I’m still well within the boundaries of my outline, but it’s just that my brain thinks faster than my hands could type so by the time my mind finishes the chapter, I am too bored to type it down. *shakes head vigorously* This mustn’t be! I will finish well! I’ve finished four chapters, twelve more to go!
- What type of music are you listening to now? Because I am writing, I prefer listening to instrumental music (movie scores and drama soundtracks) or world music (Mandarin, Korean or Nihonggo). Right now, thanks to Alexis who lent my sister a 5-disc set of Classical Music I have “refined” my musical tastes. Plus I can finally identify the music on some TV commercials!
I am loving Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Alfred Reed’s Greensleeves. - Five favourite things for this week? For today (I like variety) it will be: 1. SLEEP; 2. Marlene Dietrich photos; 3. Zooey Deschanel’s eyes; 4. Hard to Say by Jaymay and; 5. Bill Bryson!
- What gives you inspiration lately?
